We would like to give a big thank you for all the support we received in 2019. We achieved a great deal together this year.
Many young people will have secured employment, or enrolled on to an educational course, and be on track to achieve great things. Others will have secured their own place to call home, with the help of our Rent Deposit Scheme, and are now supporting themselves and living independently. Other young people will have made leaps of progress managing their mental health, and are now living more stable, healthy lives.
Whether you supported us as a corporate partner, took part in a workplace fundraiser, gave a one-off donation, supported our BBC radio 4 appeal, shared one of our campaigns on social media, or simply told a friend about our work, these are collective achievements that we couldn’t have accomplished alone.
A special thank you goes to all our member charities, who have worked hard on the ground all year round, providing life changing practical support for young people as they make their journey out of homelessness:
While we have many things to be proud of, there’s still lots of work to do. Over the Christmas period, Centrepoint estimated that a shocking 22,000 young people were at risk of homelessness.
In 2020, the mission to End Youth Homelessness continues, and we hope you will join us in our fight to turn lives around, and give vulnerable young people a future.
