Just £20 can provide a young person with an hour of support with our dedicated housing team who will help them into their own home.
Homeless young people face huge financial barriers that prevent them from securing a home. Often, whichever direction they look, there are obstacles in their way. We launched our Housing Fund to help young people to overcome these barriers, because no young person should be without a home.
We provide young people with bursary and bond schemes that help them overcome the prohibitive upfront costs associated with securing a tenancy.
The Fund will provide homeless young people with the practical help they need to find and move into a suitable home. We also provide the basics that make a house a home.
With young people being worst hit financially by COVID-19, it's vital they get the support they need to prevent them spiralling into homelessness. It all starts with a safe place to call home.
Just £20 can provide a young person with an hour of support with our dedicated housing team who will help them find a home of their own and escape homelessness for good.
The First Step out of Homelessness
Homeless young people can overcome challenges, develop skills and gain employment but if they cannot find a safe, secure and affordable home, their lives remain in hold. The Housing Fund is a springboard which helps young people overcome the practical and financial hurdles to securing a home.- Nick Connolly, EYH Managing Director

Thank you to Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) for funding the first year of our Housing Fund. YBS has supported End Youth Homelessness by raising vital funds for the last three years, and will continue to support the Housing Fund into 2021.
This winter, we have also partnered with The Body Shop who will support our Housing Fund by donating 2p from every transaction between 15th October - 31st December*. This will help young people to escape homelessness for good by supporting them into a safe place to call home.
"When I came to End Youth Homelessness I had nothing. I am incredibly grateful to the Housing Fund for giving me a place to live, as well as helping me turn my house in a home for me and my little girl."
Eleanor and her baby daughter became homeless after her father’s health deteriorated quickly and he had to move. There was no room for Eleanor in her father’s new home, and she had nowhere else to go.
For a time, Eleanor was sofa surfing with her baby, spending each night under a different roof, wherever she could get. When she found her local EYH charity, and applied for the Housing Fund, everything changed.
Eleanor and her daughter are now happily settled in their home.
