End Youth Homelessness is proud to have partnered with Hays, a leading global professional recruiting group, since July 2019. Now over half way through our two-year charity partnership Hays’ employees have been committed to supporting EYH and are on course to raising their fundraising goal.
All the funds Hays raise goes directly to our Employability Fund, which provides homeless young people with individually-tailored support to work towards their career goals, whatever their previous education or work experience. With over 90 offices in the UK, Hays employees are supporting EYH charities across the country. By the end of our partnership, Hays will have helped a number of young people into employment, education and training pathways.
In addition to supporting our Employability Fund, Hays will host work placements and industry experience days.
Simon Winfield, Managing Director of Hays UK & Ireland, comments:
“Heading into the second year of our charity partnership with EYH, it’s more important than ever that we can play our part to support homeless young people. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all generations, but particularly young people who are more likely to be out of work.
I’m looking forward to seeing our employees across the UK come up with lots of new creative fundraising ideas this year, as well as using our expertise where we can to help deliver employability and skills sessions to young people. Combined with our #HaysHelps initiative, our charity work allows us to make a difference and have a real impact on our local community.”
